In general, animals (living or not living) are not allowed in District facilities or on school grounds, and animals are not allowed to travel on a school bus.
Under special circumstances, the principal may authorize animals to be brought into District facilities or onto school grounds for an educational purpose. The person bringing the animal must furnish transportation for the animal.
Any animal brought into District facilities or onto school grounds must be supervised at all times. It is the responsibility of the principal to determine what constitutes appropriate supervision of animals in school facilities.
Exceptions will be made for service animals accompanying an assisted individual.
