The superintendent will determine when to issue a news release about District business. In making this determination, the superintendent will strive to keep the media and the District community accurately and objectively informed. Further, the superintendent will strive to create and maintain a positive image for the District. It is the responsibility of the superintendent to approve the content of news releases originating within the District prior to their release.
News releases will be disseminated to news media in the District community. Only the superintendent or designee is authorized to respond to questions about a news release on behalf of the District.
