It is the policy of the District to cooperate with the higher educational institutions in the practical preparation of future teachers. The assignment of student teachers is to be at the discretion of the administration subject to review at the request of the Board. No teacher will be assigned more than one student teacher per year and only teachers willing to accept this responsibility will be designated as supervisory teachers. Probationary teachers in the District will not be eligible for a student teacher.
Practicum students will be allowed with administrative approval.
Honorarium received from student teaching is directed to the cooperating teacher.
