As the governing body of the District, the Board reserves the responsibility and authority for all activities that are legislative in nature and delegates to the Superintendent of Schools and his/her staff the responsibility and authority for all activities that are administrative in nature.
The Board is responsible for providing the financial means to conduct the educational program of the District. The Board is the liaison between the community and the District for the purpose of representing the values, needs and status of both the community and the District.
