Nevada FFA is a co-curricular student organization of over 100 students that teaches students how to practice good citizenship and become better community members. Nevada FFA is well-known in the Nevada community for the volunteer work and giving back that students participate in on a regular basis. The student organization provides a place for students to practice their civic responsibility and community engagement. The group regularly volunteers in the community, providing free community dinners, delivering meals to elderly community members, assisting with projects such as renovating local establishments, and more. Nevada FFA also prides itself on the community garden the group helped construct, from which they consistently donate food to the school district’s food service program and Nevada’s food pantry.
