Nevada Community School District is excited to announce that Vanessa Huber
has been named Assistant Principal & 7/8 Activities Director of Nevada Middle School starting this upcoming fall. Mrs. Huber currently serves as the PK-12 Principal at Riceville Community School and has served in that role since the fall of 2018.
“I am excited to be back in the Nevada School District in my new role as middle school assistant principal and 7/8 activities director. Nevada CSD is a great school with many opportunities for kids” said Huber. “I am looking forward to the team atmosphere at NMS and am excited to continue to make connections with students and staff! I enjoy the Nevada community and I am looking forward to being a part of it again!”
Huber came to Nevada with past experience as a Principal, Special Education Director, TLC Advisor, and Elementary Teacher. She holds a BA from the University of Northern Iowa and a MS in Teacher Effectiveness and Professional Development from Drake University. Congratulations, Mrs. Huber!
