I started serving Nevada Middle School in 2016 as a PE teacher as well as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, an assistant varsity football coach, and coaching middle school girls track.
I spent the past 5 years teaching high school PE and coaching 3 sports at St. John's High School in St. John's Arizona. I spent the last four years there as the head varsity boys basketball coach. I was also head varsity boys and girls track for 2 years and head varsity football for 1 year. Prior to that, I spent 8 years teaching and coaching four sports at Crestwood High School, where I graduated from in 1998.
I'm a Cresco, Iowa native (GO CADETS!) and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003. My family consists of my wife Jamie, and our 2 children, Anthony and Piper. I'm an avid sports fan and love Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball, Minnesota Vikings football, Los Angeles Dodgers baseball, and Los Angeles Lakers basketball. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, lifting weights, reading, and anything sports related. I'm really excited about becoming a part of the Nevada community and am looking forward to a great school year! Go Cubs!
