Dugger, Angie
Library Teacher

Preparing young learners for lifelong literacy has always been my passion. It has been a pleasure serving as the elementary teacher librarian in Nevada since 2008. I served as the Assistant Softball coach in Plainfield, Iowa during my college years. My journey in education began in 1991 teaching 5th grade and coaching JV track and volleyball in New Hampton, Iowa. I relocated to Bloomington, Indiana where I taught 4th grade and was the head softball coach at Eastern School District of Green County. My next adventure was teaching 3rd grade for the Department of Defense Schools in Wiesbaden, Germany.

I graduated from Rockwell City High School and headed to Cedar Falls, Iowa where I earned a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. While at UNI I also received a minor in Reading (K-9) with an emphasis in Middle School Education and a coaching endorsement.

I love spending time with my husband, Kris, and my twin daughters, Peyton and Sydni. Our family enjoys traveling, adventures with extended family and watching movies. My favorite activities include spending time gardening, baking, reading and decorating interiors.
