I came to Nevada in 1987 to teach early childhood special education. In 2001, I transitioned to an early kindergarten position and then in 2005 made another change to kindergarten. Before coming to Nevada, I taught early childhood special education for two and one-half years in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
I am a graduate of Iowa State University with an early childhood degree with a special education endorsement. I received my masters from Iowa State in 1995 in early childhood special education.
My family includes my husband Dan and son Eric. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as traveling and learning about new places.
