I am proud to serve Nevada as one of the elementary school counselors. I started working in Nevada in August 2012 after serving as a K-12 school counselor and head volleyball coach for 2 years in Laurens, IA.
In 2007, I received my Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a minor in coaching. Following graduation, I was accepted into the University of Wisconsin Superior counseling program where I received my Master of Science in Education degree in school counseling in 2010. The summer after graduation I moved to Iowa where I accepted my first school counseling job and ended up meeting my husband Jon, who also works for Nevada CSD in the technology department.
My time outside of work is spent with my son, Braxton, and my husband. Braxton brings joy to us each day and is our greatest blessing. I am proud to be an employee of Nevada CSD and look forward to raising my children here as well.
